Job Summary: The candidate must be a dedicated team leader, possess advanced written and oral communication skills, and consistently demonstrate integrity within a professional environment. He/she will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides advice to healthcare provider clients on matters related to finance, strategic planning, operations, organizational structure, managed care, quality, productivity, and other delivery/business systems and processes.

Responsibilities include performing any other related tasks as deemed necessary for the successful operation of the department. Respects the rights, privacy, and property of others at all times, including confidentiality information for both staff and patients, according to administrative policies and applicable laws and regulations.

 Minimum Acceptable Training and Experience:

  • Ability to assess, identifies, and responds to urgent/emergent requests in an efficient, effective, and appropriate manner.
  • Knowledgeable of and in compliance with all applicable infection control, health and safety policies and procedures as implemented by the department and/or work unit and the Medical Center.
  • Ability to operate fairly complex machinery including washers/decontaminators, ultrasonic washers, surgical power equipment, etc.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Asset management systems
